CSK vs PBKS Punjab Kings get their another victory as they defeat defending champions Chennai Super at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Punjab Kings won the toss and bowled first.

The opening pair of CSK captain (Ruturaj Gaikwad) and (Ajinkya Rahane) produced results for the first time in the ongoing campaign as the pair put up a 64-run stand for the first wicket.

(Moeen Ali) took his collapsed teammate’s position at the crease and was aware of the energetic endorsement. (MS Dhoni) ambled in to bat the final couple of overs of the game after (Gaikwad) was scalped by Swift (Arshadeep Singh).

Chennai finished with a total of 162.

In a reply, (Jonny Bairstow) and (Prabhsimran Singh) unlocked the chase for the tourists, but CSK got an early breakthrough debutant, (Richard Gleeson), who removed (Prabhsimran Singh).

(Bairstow) and (Rilee Rossouw) put up a fifty-run stance before (Bairstow) was dismissed by (Shivam Dube).

(Rilee Rossouw) helped Punjab chew down on the target as he helped take his side into the triple figures in the 12th over. (Rossouw) was broken by (Shardul Thakur).

(Sam Curran) and (Shashank) brought the reckoning down to less than run a ball required with 38 deliveries still to bowl. The batting pair continued unbeaten and went on to sell the fixture well from there on out, with carefulness to put the finishing traces on the successful run chase.

PBKS won by 7 wickets!

Harpreet Brar (Man of the Match): Extraordinary, brilliant bowling with figures of 2/17 in 4 overs.

Rilee Rossouw: Sensible batting on a tricky pitch scored 43 runs out of 23 balls.

Ruturaj Gaikwad: A one-man show stand took the innings to the end with a score of 62 runs on 48 balls.
