The Punjab Kings have done what looked to be unbearable, as they have run a record-breaking 262 runs in just 18.1 overs. Important to the charge was (Jonny Bairstow), who returned to the side, hit a fine of 108 in 48 balls, and was stayed by the powerplay-fifty by (Prabhsimran Singh).

However, as the (Jonny Bairstow) picked up the scoring rate, he was supported by (Shashik Singh), who hit a rapid 68 in 28 balls to help PBKS cap the victory.

Sunil Narine: Feary, knock 71 runs on 28 balls and also take 1 wicket.

Prabhsimran Singh: Phenomenal batting scored 54 runs in 20 balls.

Conclusion:

KKR stands 2^nd in the point table with 8 games won out of 5 matches. They are in a comfortable position for their next match against the Delhi Capitals. The Punjab Kings will be very confident after this superb victory, as they need to win all remaining matches in the tournament  for their next match against CSK.
