RR vs LSG Rajasthan Royals are just near qualifying for IPL 2024 with their dominant win against Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana Sports City Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday.

Toss: Rajasthan Royals won the toss and bowl first.

The opening pair, (KL Rahul) and (Quinton De Kock)started the innings with two consecutive boundaries by (De Kock)before being bowled out by (Trent Boult). Next over, (Sandeep Sharma) removes (Marcus Stoninis) to make LSG look defenseless at 11/2 in 2 overs.

Captain (KL Rahul) and (Deepak Hooda) then navigated their team out of worry with a 115-run partnership, with both batsmen scoring half-centuries. However, (Hooda) was dismissed soon after his half-century. Later, the wickets of LSG batsman are going down as the franchise posted 196 runs in their 20 overs.

 

In reply, (Jos Buttler) and (Yashasvi Jaiswal) provided a quick-tempered start to the Rajasthan Royals innings. However, when (Yash Thakur) bowled out (Jos Buttler), and after the next over, the first ball (Yashasvi Jaiswal) was also dismissed by (Marcus Stonis).

From there on, captain (Sanju Samson) and wicketkeeper-batsman (Dhruv Jurel) put on a winning 121-run partnership to confirm there were no setbacks as RR sailed to a comfortable 7-wicket victory.

KKR vs PBKS

Key Performance:

Sanju Samson (Man of the Match): Captain Played for their team and finished the match in style, scoring 71 runs on 33 balls.

Sandeep Sharma: A fewer wickets in this match, but he managed to take two wickets where the team needed them.

KL Rahul: KL Rahul played very well, with 76 runs on 48 balls.

DC vs MI

Conclusion:

Rajasthan Royals are nearing qualifying for IPL 2024; they are at the top of the table today, and their team performed very well. The RR’s next match is against SRH.
