SRH vs RR An exciting contest between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday.
SRH vs RR Match Highlights:
Toss: SRH won the toss and elected to bat first.
SRH were unable to score runs on the powerplay as they lost wickets to (Abhishek Sharma) and (Anmolpreet Singh).
However, (Travis Head) and (Nitish Reddy) built an innings and scored 96 runs off 57 deliveries to revive SRH innings, while (Heinrich Klaasen) provided the final burst.
(Reddy) and (Head) scored half-centuries to help Sunrisers Hyderabad post 201/3.
In reply, (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) removed two big fish in the first over (Jos Buttler), and Skipper (Sanju Samson) went for a duck.
(Riyan Parag) and opener (Yashasvi Jaiswal) sewed a 133-run stand, but then (Jaiswal) was dismissed by (Natarajan).
Then (Riyan Parag) was also removed in the 16th over by skipper (Pat Cummins), (Shimron Hetmyer) and (Rovman Powell) carried the innings.
But (Hetmyer) tries to smash, but he falls to (Natarajan) in the 18th over.
(Cummins) bowled an outstanding 19th over, giving away only seven runs, with contempt (Powell) striking a six-over extra cover on the last ball. With 12 runs needed to win the final over and four men outside the 30-yard circle due to a slow over-rate, (Powell) bundled (Bhuvneshwar) for four.
With two runs needed off the final ball, (Bhuvneshwar) stuck (Powell) vertical LBW with a low full toss on the middle and leg to complete a spectacular win for SRH over the table-toppers.
SRH won by 1 run!
Key Performance:
Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Man of the Match): Awesome bowling from Bhuvneshwar to win a match for the team with figures 3/41.
Nitish Kumar Reddy: Remarkable batting score: 76 runs on 42 balls.
Riyan Parag: After a horrible start, he played great innings for the team and scored 77 runs on 49 balls.
Conclusion:
After two losses, SRH came back with a win, they also climbed to 4th place in the table. SRH’s next match is against MI. RR lost today, but they do not worry about it as they are at the top of the table. RR’s next match is against DC.
